In March 2012, we launched the redesign of the International Energy Forum (IEF) website. The new site boasts a sleek design and improved ease of use.
The redesign launched in time for the IEF’s biennial Ministerial Meeting, which saw energy ministers from across the globe gather to discuss energy issues. The IEF aims to foster greater mutual understanding and awareness of common energy interests among its 89 member countries.
The IEF site uses Webcharge, Orantec’s own content management system (CMS). Webcharge provides a user-friendly way to update the site without needing technical skills. It is adaptable to the needs of everyone from small businesses to global organisations.

The IEF chose to partner with Orantec in order to update and modernise the Jodi Oil website.
The Joint Organisations Data Initiative focuses on the importance of exchanging data to enhance transparency of global energy commodity markets. Jodi is a collaboration between APEC, Eurostat, IEA, IEF, OLADE, OPEC and UNSD.
Orantec worked closely with the IEF and their brand partners to produce an attractive and user friendly website.
Barbed's online shop utilises Orantec's shop management suite to produce an
e-commerce website that is attractive yet extremely simple to use. The

CPS Homes cutting edge website uses the latest web technologies to produce an interactive and user-friendly experience. Featuring advanced membership and property search facilities, integrations with Google Maps and property e-mail notifications.
The web software integrates with CPS' in-house property management software to automatically keep the online property lists up to date. Orantec's Search Engine Optimisation SEO service is constantly achieving very high targets of website visitors.

Construct CO2 is a web based software system for tracking emissions on construction projects. Details of trips to and from the construction site by workers, visitors and delivery vehicles are recorded along with the vehicles used and the related emissions are calculated.
The system also tracks emissions from the use of plant and fuel energy to give a complete picture of site emissions throughout the course of construction.
The system produces emissions charts and journey maps to help visualise the site emissions.
Cost-Tracker.com is an open book project management system for housing agencies.
The software allows housing agencies to manage costs by property or by
project and to provide access for contractors to login and provide
reports. The system provides an approval process for cost submissions
and detailed cost reports.
Recruit 121 Extranet
Orantec developed a custom web based extranet solution to allow staff and offices to share files and communicate across continents. The extranet includes features such as instant messaging, staff assessment questionnaires, contact list management and also manages web content, website members and mailshots.
The extranet provides Recruit 121 with up to date information on a company level to all employees and allows staff to divide their collective expertise amongst individual clients.
Orantec developed custom software to integrate with Sage 50 Accounts to allow cross referencing of customer product codes with Chevler’s own product codes when printing invoices and despatch notices. The software retrieves notice and invoice details from sage and produces a printable document which includes the product codes from Sage and the cross referenced product codes that each individual client uses for the same product.
The software also includes a facility for automatically creating and e-mailing pdf invoices to clients who have been specified as accepting e-mail invoices within Sage 50..
CPS Homes Applicant Management System
Building on Orantec's ongoing relationship with CPS Homes, we were asked to help them with a specific software problem. CPS Homes needed an applicant management system that could be accessed by staff across their branch locations and would link effectively with their available property lists and website membership facilities.
Orantec produced a custom web based application that integrates perfectly with CPS Homes CMS system and internal software allowing them to easily manage applicants who approach them through one of their office locations or through their website. CPS Homes are also able to collect applicants property requirements and send out automatic e-mail alerts when matching properties become avallable.
R&M Williams Job Manager
R&M Williams are a construction, building maintenance and trade contracting company. R&M commissioned Orantec to create a job management software system which allows them to manage jobs, assign tasks to engineers, communicate with engineers through PDA's, carry out reporting on jobs and manage timesheets.
The software integrates with housing associations, automatically receiving job details, sending daily progress updates and automating invoicing by integrating with Sage 50 Accounts.
Orantec were commissioned to produce a web based cost tracking application for Lloyds TSB. The application helps Lloyds TSB track their costs on bank renovations and extensions at contractor and sub contractor level. The system manages the costs on a project by project basis, providing cost reports at various stages throughout the project and compares forecasts to actual costs throughout the assignment.
Gibson Specialist Technical Services
Gibson Specialist Technical Services commissioned Orantec to create a windows based job management software system to help them manage jobs on a day to day basis. The system needed to integrate with clients systems to receive job information and with a PDA software system to assign and manage the job processes. A reporting system helps Gibson to manage jobs and send timely updates to their clients and also to manage staff and timesheets.
